LEGAL — DOC 01 / 03

PRIVACY
POLICY

WRITTEN TO BE READ, NOT SCROLLED PAST. THIS IS WHAT WE COLLECT, WHY, AND WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT.

EFFECTIVE — JULY 3, 2026 LAST UPDATED — JULY 3, 2026 APPLIES — WAYSEL.COM & SUBDOMAINS

01 — Who we are & scope

WaySel ("WaySel," "we," "us," or "our") is a product-engineering studio located at 11772 W Sample Rd, Suite 130, Coral Springs, FL 33065, United States. You can reach us at info@waysel.com or +1 (307) 301 7848.

This policy describes how we handle personal information on this website (the "Site") and in the course of the design, engineering, deployment, and marketing services we provide to clients (the "Services"). Our work is business-to-business: in most cases the people we hear from are founders, teams, and companies, not consumers.

When a client engagement involves data that the client controls — for example an ad account, an analytics property, or an application we build for them — a signed project agreement (and, where required, a business associate or data processing agreement) governs that data. Where that agreement and this policy differ, the agreement wins.

02 — What we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details — name, email address, phone number, and company name, when you email us, call us, or send a project brief.
  • Project information — whatever you choose to tell us about what you're trying to build.
  • Engagement records — contracts, invoices, and billing details if we end up working together.

Information collected automatically

  • On this Site: none by us. The Site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no advertising pixels, tags, or fingerprinting scripts.
  • Hosting logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) may generate standard, short-lived server logs — IP address, user agent, request time — for security, abuse prevention, and operations. We do not use these to identify or profile visitors.

The project brief

The brief on the Start a Project page is assembled entirely on your device and handed to your own mail app. Nothing you type is transmitted to or stored on any server of ours unless and until you press send in your own mail client.

03 — How we use it

  • To respond to you and evaluate whether a project makes sense — we'll ask, and we'll be honest.
  • To perform engagements: scoping, building, deploying, and reporting under a signed agreement.
  • To invoice, keep required business records, and comply with law.
  • To protect our rights, our clients, and the security of our systems.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we don't send marketing email lists — if you hear from us, it's a person replying to you.

04 — When we share

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers that run our infrastructure — hosting (Vercel), email, document signing, and billing — bound to use it only on our behalf.
  • Professional advisers — lawyers, accountants, insurers — under confidentiality.
  • Authorities, when a law, court order, or enforceable request genuinely requires it.
  • A successor, if WaySel is ever merged, acquired, or reorganized — under this same policy.
  • Anyone you direct us to — for example, your own team or vendors on a project.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by the California Privacy Rights Act.

05 — Meta, Google Ads & platform data

Part of what we build is marketing systems. When a client engages WaySel for that work, the client may grant us authorized access to accounts on third-party platforms — for example Meta Business Manager and the Meta Marketing API (Facebook and Instagram advertising), the Google Ads API, or Google Analytics. In those engagements WaySel acts as a service provider operating on the client's documented instructions. Concretely:

  • We access platform accounts and data only with the client's explicit authorization, which the client can revoke at any time — see Data Deletion.
  • We use platform data solely to provide the contracted Services: campaign setup, management, measurement, attribution, and optimization for that client.
  • We do not sell platform data, do not use it for our own advertising, do not combine it across unrelated clients, and do not build independent profiles from it.
  • Our use of Meta platform data is governed by the Meta Platform Terms and applicable Meta business tools terms. Our use of the Google Ads API follows the Google Ads API Terms of Service and related Google policies.
  • WaySel's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

End users of client campaigns

Pixels, tags, SDKs, and conversion APIs that we implement for a client run on the client's properties and collect end-user data under the client's privacy policy, not this one. If you have a question about data collected by a website or ad campaign we built for someone else, the client named in that site's own policy is the controller of that data — and we will assist them in honoring your request.

06 — Retention

  • Correspondence and briefs — kept while we're talking and for a reasonable period after, so we have context if you come back. Ask us to delete a thread and we will.
  • Engagement records — kept for the life of the contract plus the period required by tax, accounting, and legal obligations (typically up to seven years in the US).
  • Client platform access — ends with the engagement; credentials and tokens are revoked and any exported working data is deleted or returned per the project agreement.

07 — Security

Industry-standard practice, properly applied: encryption in transit, least-privilege and role-based access to client accounts, multi-factor authentication on platform logins, and regular review of what has access to what. Where an engagement touches regulated data — like HIPAA-covered health information — additional safeguards are specified in the project agreement and, where required, a signed business associate agreement.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; if we ever learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

08 — Your US state rights

Depending on where you live — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Utah, and Virginia — you may have the right to:

  • Know and access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete personal information, subject to legal retention duties.
  • Portability — receive a copy in a usable format.
  • Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. WaySel does none of these, so there is nothing to opt out of — but the right is yours regardless.
  • Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any right, email info@waysel.com with the subject "PRIVACY REQUEST." We will verify the request against the contact details we hold, respond within 45 days (extendable once where the law allows), and never charge for a first request. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authorization. If we decline a request, we'll say why, and you may appeal by replying to our decision; if the appeal fails you may contact your state attorney general.

09 — Children

The Site and Services are for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or under the age where consent is required in your state). If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

10 — Outside the US

WaySel operates from the United States and processes information in the United States. If you contact us from elsewhere, you're sending your information to the US, where privacy law may differ from your jurisdiction's. We apply this policy to everyone, wherever you write from.

11 — Do Not Track & GPC

There is no tracking on this Site for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off — the answer to both is already "not tracking." We treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing, which we honor by default because we never do either.

12 — Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date at the top. A material change gets a plain-English note at the top of this page for 30 days. We will never quietly rewrite what we already promised about data we already hold.
